Juliane Thurston

Juliane Thurston is a Family Nutrition Program Assistant serving the communities of Halifax County. She is housed in the Halifax STEM Center room 123. Juliane works within all HCPS elementary schools, as well as with limited income youth in the community at large, delivering fun nutrition education programs to youth at various sites throughout the year.  

The Halifax Family Nutrition Program is always looking for community partners that are interested in providing hands-on nutrition, smart shopping, and cooking skills programs at their site. These programs are FREE and available to all people who receive Food Stamps (SNAP), WIC, or free and reduced lunches at school.
